The train is a sleek, black bullet train with reinforced windows and armored panels on every surface they can be fitted to. Flexible rubberized seals allow passage between cars and keep water out in the event of a tunnel breach.

There is an engine at each side, right now five cars sit in between, cleared of enemy combatants already by House Draconis men at arms and UNW special forces

One of you takes the drivers seat and the train begins warming up, gently buoying on its magnetic rails for the journey undersea. The platform is cleared and more UNW soldiers, regulars this time, move to keep your escape route open.

There is a gentle lurch forward and the trains lights come on, as the tunnel swallows you up. The tunnel is lit dimly from the inside by fading orange lighting, meant to mimic the sun overhead and ease some of the otherwise unrelenting darkness

The walls look thick and there are service alcoves every two kilometers

The doors begin to winch open to a platform , without windows. This room looks to be fairly armored and protected against water coming in. Two corpsec guards stand in front of a port door leading further into the base. Another four stand on the platform waiting for the train to come in. They don’t look tense or like the train arriving is a concern to them.

The antechamber is also reinforced and it opens into a wide lobby. Everything is a painfully clean shade of white. A glass elevator at the back of the room leads up into the offices, apartments and penthouses that make up the upper levels of the dome. Heavily reinforced portholes look out at the rawhani sea and a submarine can be seen passing by outside one of them. A mix of about sixty managers, laborers, and soldiers mills about. Some sit at tables enjoying a meal from the small food court here. Others admire plants and gardens worked into the grand lobby

The symbols of each corporation are cast in bronze and hung on each side of the elevator

The map finally downloads This elevator will bring you to the second to top floor. A special keycard is needed to access the penthouse at the top of the dome. There is an engineering section in the penthouse that allows the dome to be ejected in the event of an emergency or flooding of the base. The locking mechanisms are complex , and the amount of computer based safeguards to prevent accidental release are staggering.

Once the failsafes are tripped the dome releases two minutes later, allowing time for internal bulkheads to close

The doors close and lock as the elevator awaits a command. The struggle out in the food court area seems to still be going strong. The ceiling is a complicated set of arresting wires, weights, pulleys and tackles. From the ground, you can’t see the top of the elevator shaft. The elevator does have “roof” access so technicians can attend to the car if needed

(But from down here you can’t really see to know if the cutting idea would work)

(Her new gadgets focus. We don’t have to jump on that but a few things can be stolen with some checks here and she can make a tool. Meta tools wouldn’t be enough to cut something like that, but a post tech tool kit would, as well. If nobody has that stuff she can make something. A few odds and ends from her bag complete the device. The laser cutter will be good for a few powerful bursts, enough to make an entryway somewhere if needed

There is a deep bang of metal on metal and the dome rocks gently as mooring cables are released. Armored shutters slam down over portholes. Outside you hear incredible volumes of air being directed with force to fill the very large floatation devices meant to buoy the dome to the surface of the sea

"Sometimes it's a sword... today it's a shield! Lucky you!" Dax waves an outstretched arm across his chest with his palm facing out to instantiate a nearly opaque field of metadimensional force that is subtly pulsing while small licks of clear flame dance across the surface of the wall. He shapes it to completely encompass the group of executives and other un-friendlies in the room.

A curtain-like barrier of charged metadimensional energy is summoned by the caster, summoning a wall 3 meters high with a length up to 3 meters for each character level. The wall can be placed anywhere with- in one hundred meters of the caster, provided it rests completely on a solid surface, and it may be shaped as the caster wishes so long as the overall area is the same. Between the energies of the barrier and the conceal- ment provided by the opaque field, ranged attacks that cross it can only hit a target on a natural 20. Objects or living creatures that cross the barrier suffer 1d6 dam- age per two levels of the caster, rounded down, with a Physical save for half. This damage counts as damage from a Heavy weapon. The barrier cannot be brought up where a living creature is located, but must be ini- tially routed around them.

The dome arrives on the surface of the sea as the UNW troop ships cargo lighters attach ropes and chains to the roof to begin towing it to shore. House Draconis mechs are securing the beach along with a detachment of UNW troops.

Hailey takes a moment to fix her hair and straighten herself up, before beginning a broadcast to Rawhani by use of Corpsec’s systems, making sure to slide in a PsikeTV logo over the Corpsec one. Her demeanor changes the moment she steps in front of the camera. “People of Rawhani. I’ll get straight to the point. Power has finally begun to shift back into your hands. My name is Hailey Clements. And these are Stev Andisom, Joshua Collins, Dorian Guerra, and Dax Withers, some of the UNW’s finest. And them...” she sweeps their prisoners into view. “you might already know them. “They’re also not important anymore. They’re control is no more. We have taken them captive and secured that they won’t be causing any more struggle in the near future, aside from the headache they might cause an interrogator or fellow inmate. “As for Rawhani, it may take some time to rebuild this planet to the pride it can be, but I believe that you, with the happy help of your allies in the UNW should you need it, can make Rawhani more than it’s ever been before. This is Hailey Clements, signing off.” She concludes the broadcast with a wave. (edited)

A message is broadcast in return to the psike TV one, later that night. Corpsec forces all over the planet are calling for a ceasefire and would like to negotiate with House Draconis and the UNW for a surrender agreement.

In the meantime they’ll continue to occupy their forward fighting positions, but will cease any bombardments and delay any sorties against UNW and Draconis forces
